NY, NY — August 7, 2026 — GOLD Comedy today announced the upcoming launch of its flagship podcast, Funny You Should Ask: Candid Q&As With Your Favorite Comedy People. Hosted by GOLD Comedy founder Lynn Harris (The Today Show, Glamour, Joe’s Pub), the podcast draws on GOLD’s vast vault of members-only live Q&A Zooms with working comedy professionals, now opened to a wide audience. The first episode will drop August 24 and feature comedian Maria Bamford.

Each episode features an in-depth conversation with a comedian, writer, performer, or other entertainment luminary about their career, their process, and the realities of making a living by making people laugh. Guests bring experience and insight from many forms of comedy and entertainment, including standup, sketch, pilots, web series, late-night, music, and cartooning. Consistent with GOLD’s mission, most guests are women, non-binary creators, or other “others.”

Season 1 will feature: Maria Bamford, Jonterri Gadson, Emily Flake, Joanna Briley, Jeff Hiller, Judy Gold, Flash Rosenberg, Michelle Badillo, Kerry Coddett, and Shaun Cassidy.
