Review Process

Every press release submitted to PressLaunch is reviewed by a human editor. We do not auto-publish. Our review process typically takes 24 to 48 hours from submission.

1

Submission

You submit your release through our secure form. A draft is saved automatically.

2

Editorial Review

Our editor reviews for accuracy, newsworthiness, and compliance with these guidelines.

3

Distribution

Approved releases are distributed to our media network and published in the Press Room.

Writing Standards

Headline

Should be factual, specific, and newsworthy. Avoid superlatives like 'best ever' or 'world-class' unless substantiated. Aim for 60 to 100 characters.

Summary

A 2 to 3 sentence overview of the news. Should answer who, what, when, where, and why. This is the most important element for media pickup.

Body

Written in third person. Lead with the most important information. Include at least one quote from a named spokesperson. Avoid jargon.

Contact Information

A real name, email address, and optionally a phone number must be included. Anonymous submissions are not accepted.

Length

Between 300 and 800 words is ideal. Longer releases may be edited for clarity before distribution.

Editorial Independence

PressLaunch reserves the right to decline any submission that does not meet these guidelines, regardless of payment. Payment for distribution services does not guarantee publication.

We may edit submissions for grammar, formatting, and clarity. We will not alter the substance of your release without your consent.

If your submission is declined, you will receive a notification with the reason. You may revise and resubmit at no additional charge.

AI SEO Optimization Disclosure

As part of our distribution process, PressLaunch uses AI-assisted tools to optimize your press release for search engine visibility. This includes generating an SEO-optimized meta description, suggesting a search-friendly headline variant, and extracting target keywords.

If our review determines that your summary is not strong enough for effective media pickup, we may rewrite it using AI and will notify you by email with both the original and the revised version.

Your original headline and body text are always preserved. SEO enhancements apply only to metadata and search presentation, not to the published content itself.
